The EFL released the Championship,League One and League two fixtures and here is the run down of some key fixtures for both Blackpool and Fleetwood.
Blackpool
Blackpool will be looking for promotion this season after they failed to get into the play-offs on the final day last season.
The Tangerines travel to newly promoted side Crawley Town on the opening day of the season which is set to take place on August 10th at 5:30pm before hosting another promoted side in Stockport County at Bloomfield Road.
In the Carabao Cup first round the Seasiders will travel to fellow League One side Burton Albion on the week commencing August 12th.
It was announced today that Liverpool Under 21’s will join Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra and Harrogate Town in the Bristol Streets Motors Trophy.
Blackpool will face two North West rivals in Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.
Bolton Wanderers:Away- November 23rd Home-March 29th
Wigan Athletic:Home-October 26th Away-April 26th
Over the festive period an away trip to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham on Boxing Day before travelling away to Birmingham City in the Seasiders final game of the year.
On New Year's Day Blackpool will host Shrewsbury Town.
The Seasiders will finish their 2024-25 campaign at Bloomfield Road as they host Bristol Rovers.
Fleetwood Town
The Cods will be looking for promotion after a disappointing 2023-24 campaign which ended in relegation.
Fleetwood will host Grimsby Town at Highbury before taking a trip to Nottinghamshire to take on Notts County.
In the Carabao Cup first round Fleetwood will host Championship side West Brom on the week commencing August 12th.
It was announced today that Aston Villa Under 21’s will join Fleetwood,Barrow AFC and Bolton Wanderers in the Bristol Streets Motors Trophy.
Blackpool will face two North West rivals in Morecambe and Accrington Stanley.
Morecambe: Home-September 21st Away-February 1st
Accrington Stanley:Home-December 14th Away-April 1st
