Preview: Blackpool vs Fleetwood

The League One Fylde Coast Derby approaches tomorrow.

It’s all to play for with the two teams pushing for higher things in the League One table.

The Seasiders aim for a playoff push, with them currently in 8th place - six points behind 6th place Oxford United.

Especially after demotion from the Championship last season - Blackpool have found challenges in this table also.

For Fleetwood, they are going through what Neil Critchley’s team did last season.

Critchley guided Blackpool to promotion previously from League One to the Championship in the 2020/21 season (via the playoffs).

So there is no saying that the Englishman couldn’t emulate that run of events now.

Charlie Adam’s side are 23rd place in League One and have been struggling to pick up the pace of point gaining all season.

The cod army have drew their last three games and lost two prior to them.

Exactly 30 points separate the two sides, both looking to push for different outcomes of the season.
