Preview: Leyton Orient vs Fleetwood Town

In Fleetwood’s last two games of the season, they look to pick up a full six points to escape relegation.

The cod army currently sit 23rd in League One, a consistent spot for them over this last month.

Despite the introduction of Charlie Adam who has helped them progress and pick up few points in 2024 after a losing streak at the start of the season, it is unlikely that Fleetwood will be playing in their same league next season.

Charlie Adam’s team have lost every game in their last five, apart from one win against Northampton Town last weekend.

25 points separate the two sides and although Leyton Orient stand in good stead for a mid-table finish this season, they have a similar form to Fleetwood with one win, one draw and three losses in their last five games.

Their head-to-head record consists of two Cod Army wins and a point shared fixture between each side.

Before this season, each side had last faced each other in the 2014/15 season.

They haven’t faced each other in almost a decade as Leyton Orient were promoted & won League Two last season and have managed to progress to 10th in League One this season!
