Luke is one of the youngest voices on the station. He's grown up with a huge love for radio and in the last few years has turned his hobby into full-time work! Luke started an online music blog during the pandemic, which focused on offering support and promotion to young aspiring musicians from any genre. He is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to new music, especially dance music. 

Aside from radio, Luke is a huge fan of sports, following his favourite football Team, Arsenal (C'mon you Gunners) and is dedicated fan of Formula One. He also loves to watch and play tennis in his spare time.

Who is your career inspiration? 

Greg James! I was 14 when I first fell in love with Radio and his Drive time show had me running home from school to be by the radio by 4pm. An honorable shoutout to Scott Mills as well!

Favourite Coastal Highlight so far?

I get the pleasure of being at all the events for Coastal Radio DAB, but my favourite single event has to be Local Hero's... It was my first time attending. 

What is your favourite movie?

I love watching the Back to the Future Trilogy, or Harry Potter. 

It's 5pm on a Friday Afternoon, what are you doing? 

I think we're heading down the road into town for a few drinks! 

If you could swap lives with anyone in the office, who would it be and why?

I think i've got to pick Dan Whiston. I used to Ice-skate as a kid, so that's always fascinated me. 

If you were in a band, what would your band name be?

Can I pick a Dj name instead? A fellow industry professional once called me 'LEWK' as a pun on my name, It slang for someone who looks cool, I think it's got to be that! 

If you could work anywhere else in Blackpool for a day, where would you work and why?

The Elephant House at Blackpool Zoo... I always wanted to be an Elephant trainer.
