Police have been involved in Operation Shore - the force's countywide response to illegal ketamine.
Police have stepped up thefight against illegal ketamine dealing in Lancashire. Officers executed a series of high-impact warrants countywide as part of Operation Shore.
"The week of action led to forced entries, drug seizures, and the arrest of suspected dealers in a clear message that this criminality will not be tolerated" Police said
Here is an overview of what was achieved last week:
- 19 warrants were executed across Lancaster, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn, Preston, Skelmersdale, and Chorley.
- Quantities of suspected Class A, suspected Class B, and suspected Class C drugs were seized, as well as large quantities of as-yet unidentified white powder.
- 32 people were arrested, with ages ranging from 15 to 55.
- Over £26,900 cash was seized.
- Weapons including machetes, zombie knives, air weapons, and other bladed weapons were seized.
A Police Spokesperson said "This policing activity is vital for taking harmful drugs off our streets. As well as seizing suspected ketamine, we have also seized quantities of cocaine, heroin, cannabis, and other illegal drugs. Removing weapons from the streets also makes them safer for everyone.
"Thank you for your continued support in fighting the criminals profiting from selling these harmful drugs.
"We will act on the information you give, seizing drugs, making arrests, and protecting our children and young people from the criminals who care only about money."
