The fire broke out around 2:30 pm today (1st June)
Emergency services attended the scene of a suspected hotel fire at the abandoned World Hotel on Gen Street in Blackpool.
Luckily the fire was a skip of old furniture and other debris pilled close by that looked to be from inside the building.
Fire and Rescue attended the scene quickly with Police closing off access to Back Warbreck Road to get access to the fire.
The cause of the fire is still yet unknown
