Blackpool's Dan Whiston has been working hard behind the scenes on the show to make 2023 the biggest and best year yet!
After winning the series a record 3 times, Dan has switched from partnering celebrities, to a new role as 'associate creative director' last year. A move that sees him now more involved in the shows production, alongside advising and mentoring the celebrities.
Alongside his Dancing On Ice job, Dan began hosting Drivetime on Coastal Radio DAB, alongside friend and former Dancing On Ice (DOI) partner Hayley Tamaddon. The pair won the 5th series of DOI in 2010, before finishing runners up in the 'All Stars' special in 2014.
Dan hinted on his radio show that the viewer 'may or may not' see him back on the ice to perform a few routines this series. A move that will please longtime viewers of the show.
This years series, which begins on ITV 1 tonight at 6:30pm, will see the likes of Eastenders icon, Patsy Palmer, reality favourite Joey Essex and football professional turned presenter, John Fashanu take to the ice in a bid to win the series. A full list of celebrities and their partners can be seen below.
