Harts Amusements in Bispham has been a pillar in the community for over 60 years.
The announcement was made over social media on Sunday evening, with a post reading, "Well folks after 60 years, it's with a heavy heart we have to announce that Harts Amusements has been sold."
The popular arcade sits in the 'Little Bispham' village and is a much loved attraction in the community, especially at the end of the illumination trail.
"Firstly we would like to take the opportunity to thank our customers, a big thank you to you," said a statement. "Without you we wouldn't have had a business. The majority of our customers are either local or returning, customers from all all over the country."
The closing date coincides with the closing of the Illumination season on the 3rd January 2024.
