Andy worked for Radio Wave as the chief news editor for 30 years, and could be heard reading the news most days on the old 96.5 station.
Andy has over 40 years of broadcasting experience, working as both a news reader, editor and producer, across several stations in the North West.
Alongside his work in radio, Andy has provided the voice for Blackpool Transport's buses and trams since the new fleet of Palladium buses arrived in the 2015.
Joining Coastal Radio DAB this November, Andy said "I'm thrilled to be back on the radio across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast again. Friday Night will be our place, for our kind of music".
Andy's new show, "Decades" will air every Friday Night from 10pm, playing a mixture of music from the 70s and 80s, capturing the sound of Blackpool's nightlife in years gone by.
