St Annes International Kite Festival 2026 🪁
Watch the skies come alive with colour at the award-winning St Annes Kite Festival! Join us for a spectacular weekend where kite teams from across the UK and beyond transform our beautiful beach into a canvas of incredible aerial displays.
Experience the magic of hundreds of kites dancing in the coastal breeze! From giant display kites to mesmerising formations, our five beach flying arenas will showcase the very best in kite artistry. Friday evening features a stunning illuminated kite display as the sun sets over the Irish Sea.

Programme:
Friday 4 September: 12 noon to 10pm (including illuminated display)
Saturday: 11am to 5pm (fairground continues into evening)
Sunday: 11am to 4pm
FREE Entry - All ages welcome!
Location: St Annes Beach & Promenade (adjacent to the pier)
Parking: Town centre car parks available. Arrive early for best spaces!
Refreshments: Visit our food stalls, explore St Annes town centre cafés and restaurants, or bring your own picnic!
