Tegan Hood
Tegan is currently studying her first year of Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire, she joined Coastal’s Street team in January 2024 and writes articles and produces Instagram reels for the station.

Who is your career inspiration?
Probably someone like Alison Hammond, she’s a good presenter and is so so funny.
Favourite Coastal Highlight so far?
Filming my first ever reel at the pigeon fancier event. It was my first proper event and I got to write my first published by-line article.
What Movie best describes you?
Definitely 2005 Pride and Prejudice. I think if i shut my eyes, I can quite possibly play the entire film. I love romcoms so much!
It's 5pm on a Friday Afternoon, what are you doing?
Listening to music or watching a romcom!
If you could swap lives with anyone in the office, who would it be and why?
Probably Luke, just to see how he manages all the chaos
If you were in a band, what would your band name be?
Confused?! – As to be honest I am like that 90% of the time.
If you could work in any musical, what musical would it be and who would you play?
ALL OF THEM. I actually host a musical podcast on Spotify called The Running Order. Where we talk all things musicals. I’d have to say that Legally Blonde or Hamilton I’d work on because I’d be singing all the songs. I'd probably play Elle because I love her songs and I'm blonde.

If your life was a famous meme, what meme would it be?
Side eyeing Chloe. Because I have hearing loss, majority of the time I have misheard someone so just pull her exact face.
