Trinity Hospice will host a garden party later this month as it celebrates its 40th anniversary with patients, staff, volunteers and its community.
The event on Saturday 21st June will see hospice staff and volunteers selling goods, raising money and celebrating the people whose support have enabled the charity to care for the Fylde coast for the last four decades.
It’s the first time the Bispham hospice has held an open day event since before Covid.
Head of Fundraising, Linzi Warburton, said: “As a hospice, we are built in the heart of our community – we are only here because of the generosity of those who support us, in whichever way they are able. So we’re really excited to be opening up our hospice grounds for a wonderful celebration of the difference they allow us to make.
“There’ll be plenty of opportunities for our guests to get to know some of the incredible people who deliver and support our care, while having fun, buying good and raising money so that we can continue to care for all those who need us.
“As the hospice celebrates 40 years since we accepted our first patient, it’s important that we say a huge thank you to the incredible people who continue to support hospice care on the Fylde coast.”
The garden party will include live music and performances from local bands and artists, cakes and refreshments, plants and stalls, a raffle and tombola and special guests throughout the afternoon.
It takes place on Saturday 21st June at Trinity Hospice, Low Moor Road, Bispham, from 12noon until 4pm.
