Fleetwood Town have completed the signing of gifted young midfielder Scott Robertson from Scottish Premiership side Celtic on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The Cod Army have managed to fight off a host of teams from within the Football League pyramid to capture the 21-year-old's signature.
Robertson spent time at Celtic with Fleetwood boss Scott Brown and has already accumulated more than 50 professional appearances in his career, having played for Gillingham, Doncaster Rovers, and Crewe Alexandra, but will now move forward with the Cods.
The Scotsman has also featured once in the Europa League for the Scottish champions against CFR Cluj.
The 21-year-old is set to wear the number 10 shirt and will be eligible for Saturday's League One clash against Sheffield Wednesday, subject to international clearance.
Welcome to Fleetwood, Scott!
