Trevor’s is spreading festive cheer this year by donating over £250 worth of food to support a heartwarming community initiative.
The donation will help St Wulstan's and St Edmund's Christmas Day Dinner, an annual event aimed at ensuring no one in Fleetwood spends Christmas alone.
The Christmas Day Dinner, held at St Wulstan's and St Edmund's School Hall on Poulton Road, will provide a free three-course meal to individuals who might otherwise be isolated during the holiday season. With Trevor’s contribution, the charity will be able to source fresh ingredients for the event, ensuring attendees enjoy a high-quality festive feast. The wholesaler’s delivery team will also be personally delivering the food to the venue, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the community.
“We’re proud to support such a meaningful cause,” said Matthew Hitchen, Commercial Director at Trevors Foodservice. “At TrevorsFoodservice, we believe the holiday season is a time for connection and kindness. By partnering with the St Wulstan's and St Edmund's team, we hope to make Christmas special for those who need it most.”
The Christmas Day Dinner not only offers a meal but also creates opportunities for friendship and community spirit. Volunteers and donations continue to play a crucial role in its success, with many local businesses like Trevors Foodservice stepping up to help.
Heather, the organiser of the event, emphasised the importance of community support: “Our goal is to ensure nobody spends Christmas alone. Trevors generous donation will help us create a memorable day for everyone who attends.”
The Christmas Day Dinner will take place on Monday, December 25th at 12:00 p.m. at St Wulstan's and St Edmund's School Hall, and volunteers or further donations are always welcome. Those interested in attending or supporting the event can contact Heather directly at 07958 558135.
