From Wednesday 7th February until Saturday 10th February, the annual Dance Sparkle show will take place at the Horseshoe Bar at the iconic Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
The show commences at 7:30pm and will run until about 10pm (with an added Saturday show which is 2:00pm until 5:30pm). It features a range of show stopping songs and dances demonstrating:
- Modern
- Tap
- Ballet
- Street
- Acro
- Lyrical
The young performers have been practising since October 2023. There is a whole range of numbers with the finale of the show sees the senior dancers perform a stunning feather showgirl piece. The show has been running for 40 years - alongside the school - with dancers practising in the well-known studio.

As it’s the Dance Places 40th anniversary, they have invited past students to take part in a special reunion number. The age range of the dancers vary with their youngest student being 2 years old! A lot of the students have grown up at the dance school with some being their 12+ years!
To celebrate 40 successful years, The Dance Place are embarking on a celebratory trip to Disneyland Paris. Where 58 of their students will perform in a magical show even dance in the famous Disney parade.
