Blackpool Street Dance Crew impress at UDO World Championships

    House Of Wingz placed 2nd in their over 18 category at this year's competition.

    The event brought together the best in street dance acts from around the world, to Blackpool's iconic Empress Ballroom. 

    House Of Wingz placed 2nd in their group age category alongside individual success with Eli Diamante (1st Place under beginner 16), Dylan Dennis (2nd place, under 18 intermediate) and Orson Crane (5th place under 18 novice). 

    One of the dancers said "It's has been an amazing experience, as always, at UDO Worlds competition! A variety of different cultures and dancers that you get to experience, and aswell as taking workshop classes from the judges, who are willing to share their knowledge about their style, which I think helps me and other dancers, to incorporate their knowledge into our own style."

    The team had further success with Angelo Diamante (2nd place in 18 novice duo), Michael Omouruyi and Ethan Earley (3rd place under 18 intermediate duo) and, Julian Czuzuwara and Orson Crane (3r place over 18 beginner duo). 

    Teacher Samantha Bell said "We have kept it local; we just want to say how amazing it is, how amazing this group of young people that we're working with are and what a credit to the community, what a credit they are to Blackpool".
