Three people were inside the property at the time of the fire.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue were called to the house in Talbot Road, Layton at the early hours of Saturday Morning (11th February).
The Fire crews rescued three casualties and handed them over into the care of North West Ambulance Service.
Three hose reels were used to extinguish the fire, which began at approximately 3:30am.
Firefighters and Police remain on scene today.
