This 1940’s Variety Show is a light-hearted, yet respectful look at wartime entertainment known as E.N.S.A. Your host and 40’s vocalist Mervyn Francis returns along with comedy multi-instrumentalist Pete Lindup, and ukulele virtuoso Anthony Mason.
Joining the team is our own forces sweetheart Beryl Johnson. Together they re-create stars of the period in ‘Workers Playtime‘ with tributes to Donald Peers, Gracie Fields, Frank Randle, Anne Shelton, Jack Buchanan, Rob Wilton, Vera Lynn, and more.
