BeaverBrooks Blackpool 10k Fun Run

Runners will take to the streets of Blackpool Promenade to run 10k to raise money for Trinity Hospice.

The fun run, sponsored by Beaverbrooks, is open to people aged 11 and above, inviting experienced and beginner runners and wheelchair users to raise money.

Last year over 1,200 people took part and more than £50,000 was raised.

Trinity Hospice provides patients with relief from the symptoms, pain and stress of a serious illness to improve quality of life for them and their loved ones.

Standard entry includes a limited-edition 40th Anniversary t-shirt for the first thousand who sign up, chip timing and a bespoke medal.

Runners will head south down Blackpool Promenade towards Blackpool Pleasure Beach, where they will make a U-turn and head back.

The event will take place on Sunday 14th May at 11am, starting at the Savoy Hotel.
