Shoebox Appeal
Coastal Radio DAB has teamed up with Last Minute Care & Nursing for our shoe box appeal across Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde.
We are asking residents of the Fylde coast to donate either a completed shoebox or items we can put together in the shoe box to pass on to a homeless person this Christmas, as we believe EVERYONE should have something to open on Christmas Day.
We will be donating the first 100 boxes to Helping Hearts Fylde, who go and feed around 50 homeless every Thursday night on the streets of Blackpool & Fylde Coast. After that, any additional boxes will be shared amongst other homeless charities or charities who help people on low incomes.
