An acrobat performing on the “Wheel of Faith” was injured on Saturday during a live performance.
The “wheel of faith” has been in this years Tower Circus display, involving at least two acrobats running around two large hamster-like wheels, which span around 10 meters in height.
The incident occurred during the Saturday afternoon show around 5pm on the 27th April.
The Circus was evacuated while paramedics attended the scene, while the performer was treated for “minor injuries”.
The Blackpool Tower have said a review into the act will now take place in accordance with standard safety procedures at the Blackpool Tower.
