After Wyre Council issued a notice giving 14 days to carry out safety works, scaffold has been seen going up around the Ex-Catalogue shop on Lord Street
In a statement issued last month Wyre Council said...
"The council has issued a notice to the building's new owners, giving them 14 days to carry out the necessary safety works, including installing structural scaffolding and undertaking repairs. Once completed, these works should allow the road to fully reopen and restore normal access to neighbouring businesses.
"If the required works are not completed within 14 days, the council will take further action through the courts to ensure the danger is removed and public safety is protected."
