"Following the huge success of Fleetwood Community Comic Con we’re thrilled to be doing it all again" say organisers.
Everyone is invited to this free Comic Con (short for Comic Convention). Which is a celebration of pop culture, fandoms and creativity, bringing together fans of comics, movies, TV shows, gaming, cosplay and so much more.
It’s a place where people can meet like-minded fans, discover incredible artists and traders, take part in fun activities and see amazing cosplayers dressed as their favourite characters.
"Following the huge success of Fleetwood Community Comic Con, where an estimated 2,500 people attended our very first event, we’re thrilled to be doing it all again! This time in the beautiful surroundings of Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens in Lytham."
Comic Con takes place on Sunday 2nd August, 10am – 5pm
Organisers say, "Our events are run by Community Comic Con CIC, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that is entirely run by volunteers.
"Our mission is simple: to give local creatives from across the Fylde Coast and beyond a platform to showcase what they do to the wider public.
"We support artists, makers, cosplayers, clubs, community groups and small businesses by giving them opportunities to share their passion with thousands of visitors.
"By keeping the event free to attend, we remove barriers and make sure everyone can experience the magic of Comic Con, regardless of their financial situation.
This welcoming and inclusive approach is at the heart of everything we do."
The Lytham Community Comic Con is at Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens on Sunday 2nd August between 10am – 5pm
