People looking to park in Blackpool town centre during the festive season have been given a welcome boost.
Blackpool Council is making it easier to enjoy the festive season in the town with the return of the popular Christmas parking offer.
Shoppers, diners, and theatre-goers can now park for up to four hours for just £2 at most council-operated car parks in the town.
The promotion is available until Sunday January 4 2026 and can be redeemed quickly and easily using the PayByPhone app or by calling 0800 546 0609.
This special seasonal offer is designed to support local businesses during the busy festive season and make visiting Blackpool’s shops, restaurants and entertainment more convenient and affordable.
The lower parking price is intended to make it easier for both residents and visitors to enjoy everything Blackpool has to offer this Christmas.
Cllr Paula Burdess, Blackpool Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Safety, Street Scene and Neighbourhoods, said:“We know Christmas can be an expensive time for families, and this offer is part of our commitment to making Blackpool accessible, affordable and welcoming for everyone.
“By reducing parking costs, we hope to encourage more people to shop local, support our businesses and enjoy everything the town has to offer over the festive season.”
Four hour parking sessions are limited to one per day, after which normal parking tariffs apply.
The offer includes Central Multi-Storey and Talbot Multi-Storey car parks but excludes Filey Place.
In addition to the parking offer, Blackpool’s Christmas programme includes Christmas By the Sea which features a free-to-use skating rink, festive light installations, themed log cabins with food, drink and gifts, magical snowfalls and rides for the whole family to enjoy.
The village will open every day between noon and 9pm until 4 January 2026 (barring Christmas Day).
Blackpool’s famous Illuminations display along the seafront is also continuing until January 4 2026.
